On July 26, 2025, TedxEagle Youth will bring together voices of all ages to speak on belonging within the youth. This event will explore what it truly means to find connection in our communities, cultures, identities, and within ourselves. Set in an inclusive, youth-driven atmosphere, TEDxEagle Youth will feature inspiring talks from students, young leaders, educators, and local changemakers who will share stories of acceptance, resilience, and our need to be seen and heard. This event is meant to invite the youth to celebrate their differences and explore what belonging means to them.

Amy Price

Psychology and IB Sociocultural Anthropology Teacher
Amy Price is a native of southeast Idaho, and has lived in three other states. She is married and has a three-year-old son. Holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in secondary education, along with advanced graduate coursework in psychology, her teaching career now spans middle school, high school, and community college. She has taught psychology and IB sociocultural anthropology and is currently a teacher in the West Ada school district. She also serve as a co-advisor for her school’s National Honor Society. With 17 years of experience as an educator, I am passionate about fostering belonging and authentic identity in the classroom; I intentionally work to create learning environments where every student feels recognized, valued, and empowered to bring their full selves to the classroom. Through my work, I inspire others to embrace authenticity and build communities where everyone can thrive.

Dr. Gurtej Sandhu

Senior Fellow and Vice President of Micron Technology
Dr. Gurtej Sandhu is a distinguished leader in the semiconductor industry, renowned for his pioneering work in memory storage technologies. As a senior executive at Micron Technology, Sandhu has been instrumental in advancing the company's research and development efforts, particularly in the areas of DRAM and NAND flash memory. His innovative contributions have earned him a place among the most prolific inventors in the field, with numerous patents to his name. Sandhu's expertise has not only driven Micron's success but has also significantly influenced the broader semiconductor landscape, impacting the technology used in countless electronic devices worldwide.

Olivia Luna

President of BABE VOTE
Olivia Luna (20) is a student at Boise State University studying Political Science, the President of BABE VOTE (a non-partisan, non-profit organization that works on youth civic engagement), and experienced political organizer in communities across Idaho.

Samantha Clark

Youth REP at the WCA
Samantha Clark is a Junior at Rocky Mountain High School. She is an active member of her school's Speech and Debate Team and a Youth REP at the WCA! She loves being an advocate for change, and working to inspire others to be the same.

Sanshray Kukutla

Climate Organizer with the Sunrise Movement
Sanshray Kukutla is a 20-year-old climate organizer with the Sunrise Movement and a political science student at Purdue University. He’s been involved in climate justice work since middle school, driven by a belief that young people have the power to shape a better future. Inspired by Celeste Headlee’s TED Talk “10 Ways to Have a Better Conversation,” Sanshray focuses on making conversations more grounded, thoughtful, and action-driven.
