Ananya Iyengar is a senior at Granite Bay High School with a passion for healthcare, research, and community service. She has conducted original research on microplastics and their impact on marine ecosystems, while also designing an innovative filtration system to combat this issue. She is also filing a U.S. patent for a device designed to safely cut avocados and prevent kitchen injuries. Ananya volunteers at Mercy San Juan Hospital and with SEWA International, where she helps prepare meals and serve those in need. She also leads GBHSHFH, a student-run volunteer club, and works with children as a tutor at Kumon, camp counselor, and a varsity water polo player. With experiences ranging from a volunteer abroad at a major hospital in India to local community leadership, Ananya is dedicated to combining science, service, and global citizenship in her future career as a physician.
Kailynn Murphy

Kailynn Murphy is a senior at Woodcreek High School with a long history of interest in medicine. Ever since she was little, she's had a fascination for the medical field and spends her spare time watching documentaries, as well as taking care of her room full of plants. At school, she owns the Horticulture Club, an initiative focused on community gardening and sustainability while emphasizing beneficial mental and physical health habits. Outside of the campus, Kailynn works as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the city. She hopes to study radiology, orthopedics, or neuroscience in college and, in the future, continue traveling the world to see different cultures and ways of life.
Nonprofit Founder + AI Researcher + Global Youth Leader
Pranav Vishwanath is a high school student in Folsom, CA, with a deep passion for technology, education, and community empowerment. He is the founder of Art of AI, a student-led nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to artificial intelligence education worldwide. Through workshops and curricula, his organization has reached students across nine countries and volunteers in many others. An internationally recognized young entrepreneur, innovator, and writer, Pranav has been honored in the New York Times and in competitions such as the Blue Ocean Entrepreneurship Competition. He has also conducted AI research, with one project on hallucinations published in an international journal and another exploring hyperfitting. Pranav has interned with InspiritAI and at the VC-backed startup NYX Ventures, gaining experience in both technology and entrepreneurship. Beyond his work in AI, he is an avid debater and Model UN delegate, committed to using his voice for leadership and global engagement.

He is particularly interested in the ways that understanding the function of the human nervous system can advance our social progress as a species.
Well-being Coach & Founder, Create My Happy Place
Shirly Liran Klein is a well-being coach and founder of Create My Happy Place, helping people translate the science of happiness into everyday life. With experience as a project manager and HR manager, she combines structure with empathy—breaking aspirations into practical steps while honoring the human side of change. She studied at the Happiness Studies Academy and is a certified business and life coach, blending evidence-based insights with a grounded, personal approach. Shirly also leads a free women’s circle in her community, fostering connection and shared growth, believing well-being should be accessible to all. Originally from Israel and now in the U.S., she is curious about people’s choices and what makes life meaningful. A passionate reader, writer, and member of two book clubs, she also keeps a personal blog. For her, happiness is not a destination but a lifelong journey—one she lives daily as a mother, partner, friend, and coach.
Youth Visionaries, Changemakers & Athletes - Co-Founders, Table Tennis for Life
As co-founders of Table Tennis for Life, siblings Tanvi (14) and Aarav (12) Desai are reshaping the conversation around brain health and recovery. Founded in 2024, their youth-led nonprofit has supported over 500 people with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, autism, and other challenges through free weekly sessions and outreach. Their bold, human-centered dream is to put a paddle in the hands of anyone who could benefit—not for competition, but for therapy, resilience, and dignity. Tanvi, a rising 9th grader at Emerald High School in Dublin, CA, is a U.S. National Team athlete with six years of experience and medals from U.S. Open and National tournaments, combining science with empathy to reimagine brain health. Aarav, a rising 7th grader at Cottonwood Creek K-8 School, is a three-time U.S. National Team member who recently won his first World Table Tennis (WTT) Youth Contender Championship. Together, they lead with purpose, proving every rally can spark recovery and hope.
