In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Harshita Kumari

Public Policy Analyst
Harshita Kumari is a public policy consultant working at the intersection of gender, clean energy, and disability. An alumna of Jesus and Mary College (Delhi University) and the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex, she bridges research and practice to shape policy conversations in India and beyond. Her writing—featured in The Hindu, Indian Express, and Feminism In India—reflects her commitment to feminist thought and public dialogue. She is also the author of the critically acclaimed spoken poetry collection Pocketful of Sunshine, Sorrow and Schism, a deeply personal exploration of resilience and identity. Through her work and words, she strives to make space for care, complexity, and change.

Jonaki Arora

Psychologist and Narrative Therapist
Jonaki loves working with children and young people because she enjoys their company more than adults! Through her work as a psychologist she hopes to connect with young people, and help them find a safe space to explore their difficulties and reconnect with their skills and abilities. She has a double Master's degree. She did her first Master's degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology from Monash University, Australia and recently, she has completed another Master's degree in Narrative Therapy and Community Work from University of Melbourne (in collaboration with Dulwich Centre, Australia). Her 15 years of experience in mental healthcare includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, teachers, and social workers. Jonaki deeply resonates with narrative philosophy that roots for social justice, collaboration, respect, and looks at the social-political context of the person and the problem in therapy.

Nipun Malhotra

Founder, Nipman Foundation & Director, Young Leaders for Active Citizenship
Nipun Malhotra is the Co-Founder & CEO of the Nipman Foundation, working in health and disability rights. He is Director, Policy & Programs at The Quantum Hub and Young Leaders for Active Citizenship. He chairs the FICCI D&I Working Group on Empowering Persons with Disabilities. Former Chair of the NITI Aayog Disability Sub-Committee, he's also part of NIUA’s Advisory Committee. Educated at St. Stephen’s, DSE, and ISB, he is a WEF Young Global Leader.He has driven accessibility reforms like wheelchair listings on Zomato, audits for public spaces, and legal victories including a Supreme Court PIL on accessible transport and 2024 guidelines on disability portrayal in media. He founded ‘Wheels for Life’, a platform connecting wheelchair donors and recipients, and curates the Nipman Foundation Microsoft Equal Opportunity Awards. An active voice in the media, he has authored a comic and writes widely on disability issues. Born with Arthrogryposis, he uses a wheelchair.

Priyal Bhardwaj

General secretary, Mahila morcha, BJP, delhi
Priyal Bhardwaj is currently serving as General Secretary, BJP Mahila Morcha (Delhi). She has led voter mobilization drives, G20 awareness sessions, and COVID-19 relief campaigns across India.Founder of LabelPB, Priyal celebrates India’s textile heritage by working directly with artisans and weavers. In 2018, she launched Sangini Saheli, an NGO dedicated to menstrual hygiene, education, and SHG-led livelihood programs. The initiative has distributed 5.6+ lakh sanitary pads and empowered thousands of women nationwide. Blending grassroots activism with creative leadership, Priyal represents a new wave of women change makers shaping India’s political and social landscape.

Renuka Goswami

Principal of Nimai Pathshala
Nimai Pathshala is a pioneering online spiritual school founded by Srimati Renuka Goswami and guided by Sri Manmadhva Gaudeshwar Vaishnavacharya, Shri Pundrik Goswami Ji Maharaj. This school bridges ancient Vedic wisdom with modern life and fosters self-discovery, devotion, and inner transformation. Beyond education, it is a vibrant movement of seva, organizing weekly kirtans, free education for empowering underprivileged children at Go Seva and annual spiritual camps across India. Its holistic initiatives such as online yoga, meditation sessions, the Yamuna Clean Drive, and distribution drives promote community upliftment and conscious living. Through spiritual plays, podcasts, and the International Yoga Festival, Nimai Pathshala continues to inspire thousands. Shreya Nair

Co-founder of The S.H.E Initiative
Shreya Nair , a 16-year-old student at The Shriram Millennium School, Noida. She is a change-maker, academic achiever, and co-founder of The S.H.E Initiative (See. Her. Empowered.) — a student-led movement empowering underprivileged girls and women through education, self-defense, and health awareness. A passionate advocate for equity and empathy, she has led impactful workshops for domestic workers, initiated literacy sessions for young girls, and taught self-defense to many underprivileged girls and women. Shreya is the Vice Head of the Paryavaran Club, where she actively promotes sustainability and social responsibility. A brown belt in karate and an aspiring biologist with a keen interest in stem cell research and genetics, Shreya blends scientific curiosity with social consciousness. She believes empathy is not a soft skill, but a force for change — and that true leadership begins when we listen, include, and uplift those around us.

Vivaan Berry

President, Project Kitab
Vivaan Berry — a 12th grader, a backbencher, and someone who’s trying to break the stereotype that the back row can’t be focused. While he might joke around and not always seem like the most ‘conventional’ student, he has always believed that impact matters more than appearances. He currently serve as the President of Project Kitab, an initiative working to ensure equal access to education for underserved communities. He is also the Head of Finance at EyeCare Equality, where they provide affordable and accessible eye care to workers and families across the region. While school has shaped his thinking and values, these roles have pushed him to apply those lessons in the real world — through leading teams, managing finances, and learning what it means to lead with empathy. He believes in showing up, doing the work, and letting action speak louder than assumptions — even if he is doing it all from the back of the classroom.
