Yogita Bhayana walked away from a promising aviation career to stand beside those no one else would. A single moment—a roadside accident, ignored by passersby—changed the course of her life. She chose to act. And she’s never stopped. As the founder of PARI (People Against Rape in India), Yogita has become a relentless force for justice—offering legal aid, emotional support, and dignity to survivors of sexual violence. From leading the Nirbhaya protests to pushing for landmark changes in India’s juvenile justice laws, her activism has changed not just conversations, but laws.
