This event is open to the public.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Alok Kumar Ghosh

Artist • Mentor • Keeper of Aesthetics
For over 25 years, Alok Ghosh has nurtured the artistic soul of The Scindia School. A sculptor, painter, and set designer, he has not only taught art—he has quietly embedded it into the identity of the Fort. His works, from intricate wood and stone carvings to the revered Madhav Award sketch, have become timeless signatures across the campus. Born in rural Bengal and living with polio since childhood, Alok’s journey is one of quiet defiance and unshakable resolve. A student of Santiniketan, he brings to his craft a blend of precision, warmth, and stillness. Through his hands, stone speaks. Wood breathes. Art heals.

Yogita Bhayana

Activist • Advocate • Voice for the Voiceless
Yogita Bhayana walked away from a promising aviation career to stand beside those no one else would. A single moment—a roadside accident, ignored by passersby—changed the course of her life. She chose to act. And she’s never stopped. As the founder of PARI (People Against Rape in India), Yogita has become a relentless force for justice—offering legal aid, emotional support, and dignity to survivors of sexual violence. From leading the Nirbhaya protests to pushing for landmark changes in India’s juvenile justice laws, her activism has changed not just conversations, but laws. During the pandemic, she mobilized relief for stranded migrant workers. At protest sites, she distributed menstrual kits and food. And through it all, she continues to demand a future where justice isn’t delayed—or denied. A trained disaster management professional and government advisor, Yogita stands where policy meets protest, and where courage finds its voice.
