Theme: What Now?

San Diego, California

This event is open to the public.

"What Now" is a compelling and timely theme for a TEDx Women event because it captures the essence of transition, urgency, and possibility. In a world where women are constantly navigating change—whether in leadership, technology, identity, health, or activism—this question invites reflection and action. It acknowledges that we’ve reached pivotal moments, personally and collectively, and challenges us to consider the next bold step. Its simplicity makes it memorable, while its depth allows for a wide range of interpretations—from stories of reinvention to calls for systemic change. "What Now" is not just a question; it’s a catalyst for conversation, innovation, and empowerment.

While our community may seem non-diverse on the surface, there are many untold stories and overlooked voices that deserve to be heard. We may not appear diverse at first glance, but our experiences, perspectives, and dreams are. This event aims to highlight the richness of thought and identity that exists beneath the surface—and create space for bold, inclusive conversations that move us forward. It's time we ask: What Now?

We invite local professionals, creatives, changemakers, and emerging youth leaders who are curious, reflective, and ready to shape the future. While the focus is on women’s voices and experiences, the event is open to all genders who are interested in exploring bold ideas, supporting equity, and participating in conversations that challenge the status quo. It’s for anyone asking, What Now? — and ready to listen, learn, and lead.
